Flektor effects

Ever since I joined Flektor I must have made well over a hundred visual-effect driven slideshows, effects, transitions and postcards for the Flektor platform and editor, as well as conversions of these plus additional ones for other services such as Photobucket and TinyFx.

My favorites are always the ones with some sort of wacky creative twist or interesting technical aspect to them. Let's see some effect examples.

(Note: some of these slideshows push Flash-drawing quite heavily, so running them in parallel may have adverse effects on the framerate. You have been warned.).

These two are named Hellfire and Fog. Hellfire in particular is one of the most popular effects on TinyFx right now. Both effects rely on a similar Perlin-noise based displacement-filter. What I find most valuable about them is the user-controllable customization options: you can see several alternating variants of the effects with very different settings here.
