Flektor slideshows

Ever since I joined Flektor I must have made well over a hundred visual-effect driven slideshows, effects, transitions and postcards for the Flektor platform and editor, as well as conversions of these plus additional ones for other services such as Photobucket and TinyFx.

My favorites are always the ones with some sort of wacky creative twist or interesting technical aspect to them. Let's see some slideshow examples.

(Note: this post is separated into multiple pages - make sure not to miss them. Also, some of these slideshows push Flash-drawing quite heavily, so running them in parallel may have adverse effects on the framerate. You have been warned.).

These two are called Beachwave and Retinascan. Beachwave is one of the most popular slideshows (I guess many people have vacation-photos to use it with ... ) and it's using a displacement-map in a pretty effective way. Retinascan on the other hand is all about the additive blending mode.
