Even though this post is being published on April 1st, it’s anything but an April Fools joke. 🙂
Last week it was announced that Caesars Entertainment has officially debuted our first two games at their Planet Hollywood location, with more locations to follow.
Whoa! This is a first-to-market appearance of these next generation, skill-based interactive video gaming experiences in the Las Vegas casino market, and I can only hope that years from now this moment will be remembered as one of the key events that lead to the transformation of an entire industry.
The launch also represents a culmination of more than 2 years of incredibly hard work by many people at Gamblit, following the initial buzz and anticipation these games created after their first appearance at the 2015 Global Gaming Expo.
Initial player reception has been extremely positive, but in a sense the real work is just beginning as we still face the task of rolling out our backlog of nearly 2 dozen games in many different locations (and even on a different hardware platform) for real, large-scale market feedback. But that – as the saying goes – is a good problem to have.
In the meantime check out these hilarious, unapologetically over-the-top trailers made for the two launched games – Gamblit Poker and Cannonbeard’s Treasure – below.
Speaking of Gamblit Poker: the game (along with the Model G interactive table it’s running on) recently won Casino Journal’s Top 20 Most Innovative Gaming Technology Product Awards, which is pretty darn cool.
Just so I don’t let you wander off without some extra stuff in your goodie-bag, please feast your eyes on these juicy 60fps gameplay videos of the two games right here:
