Weavy – the next-generation AI model aggregation and design workflow tool – is now officially live.
Lately it has become one of my favorite new tools.
Its seamless integration of all the latest-and-greatest model capabilities into a unified, intuitive workflow that’s all about control makes for a remarkably powerful creative experience.
Its signature marketing tagline “Artistic Intelligence” is not only pretty clever, but also quite accurate.
I have been saying for a while that I believe the next wave of AI tools to gain traction will be the ones focusing on the holistic experience, instead of attempting to compete on technical features with the big foundational models.
I have also been very impressed by the team. Through our interactions I got invited to join the Weavy Artist Collective, a crack team of specially trained badasses … err, creative partners to push the boundaries of the product and influence its future direction. And here we are.
This is the official launch video:
And this is a quick workflow walkthrough video I did to coincide with the launch:
Also, I have done this mini workflow with an earlier version of the tool.
It’s a good illustration of how newer transformer models like GPT-1 inherently support capabilities that previously required elaborate processes – such as training a LoRa and leveraging ControlNets – to achieve comparable results.
