Maya MEL Scripts

Posted on November 28, 2015December 27, 2015 by edvardtoth

For a few years during my game-development career I had been very heavily involved with the MEL scripting language of the Maya modeling application.
Apart from my confidential, proprietary game-development scripting work I also created a number of freely available, more generic scripts which managed to accumulate well over 80.000 total downloads combined. I even received the honor of being included in Pixel Magazine’s “World’s Best Maya Developers” feature.

However, as time had gone by, my interests have taken me elsewhere, and the development, updating and support of these scripts stalled.

With the latest rework of the website I decided to relocate the collection (along with their original descriptions) to a dignified GitHub repository, where hopefully they can still continue to serve the community in one form or another.

First off this is a great set of tools you have here. Second, I came across it looking for a script (I think I have seen it before somewhere) to put colors around the tabs in the attribute editor to group the tabs so it is easier to navigate. Have you seen this sort of thing anywhere?
    Cheers.

    Hi,

I am looking for a mel script which can help me deform an object(eg: Sphere)from one shape to another..
It would be great if i can get some suggestions on how to find this. Thank you.
